‘Some Things’ is a short film by Fredi Kruga. It is an independent, short film written and directed by Fredi.

Synopsis of the film: The world can be a cruel place and Inner City London is no exception. When an innocent young girl becomes caught up in a world of abuse and emotional blackmail her life quickly spirals out of control. What happens when you feel betrayed by the very person whose supposed to protect you? What do you do? Who do you turn to? We all have secrets. Some we take with us to the grave – others take us to the grave. Inspired by true events, this film is about when hope, courage, determination and faith just isnt enough. Some Things – just cant be fixed! This is not just a film – its a journey. One that will not only touch every one who watches it but may also save a life or two and encourage other young people to talk up.

Fredi ‘Kruga’ Nwaka has been involved in the entertainment industry and making short films with young people all over London for many years through his non-profit organisation C.R.I.M.E. [Creating Role Models In Media Enterprise]. [www.creatingrolemodels.com].

When I first came across the information and upcoming screening of this film it struck a very personal and profound chord within me – I have been on that journey.
